- Foreclosure Assistance Workshop
Congressman Jerry McNerney will host a workshop to provide information on foreclosures
and mortgages on Saturday, August 23, 2008 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Tracy City Hall
located at 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, CA 95376.
This workshop is presented in conjunction with the City of Tracy.
Are you are facing foreclosure or do you have concerns about whether you can continue to
make your mortgage payments? If so, free and confidential help is available to you.

The Annual Black Family Day will be held on Monday, September 1, 2008 at the Stockton
Civic Auditorium from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm with this years theme being "Enriching Our Legacy"
based on it's time to get Black to Basics by Faith, Education, Health and Creativity.

3rd Annual Disability Awareness Fair
The 3rd Annual Disability Awareness Fair will be held on
Friday, September 19, 2008 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Weber Point Event Center located at 221 N. Center Street,
in Stockton, California. This event is present by the Mayor's Task Force on Persons With
Disabilities and is free and open to the public.

RSVP Annual Recognition Luncheon
The 28th annual RSVP recognition luncheon will be held on
Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the Scottish Rite Center in
Stockton to recognize the active Retired and Senior Volunteer
Program (RSVP) of San Joaquin county volunteers. The doors open
at 9:30 am for social time, seating begins at 10:30 am, and
lunch is served at 11:30 am.
Ths Scotish Rite Temple is located at 33 W Alpine Ave Stockton, CA 95204
San Joaquin County RSVP has a current membership of over 760 seniors, who give so
freely of their time in an effort to improve our community. Our volunteers donated
over 151,700 hours of their time last year to services such as crime prevention,
the Ombudsman Program, senior lunches, food distribution and much more.

City of Manteca's 12th Annual Health and Safety Fair
The 12th annual City of Manteca's Health and Safety Fair
for City employees will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2008 from
11:00 am to 1:30 pm.
The Health and Safety Fair will be held at the Senior Citizens Activity Center located
at 295 Cherry Lane, Manteca, California. For further information Please call Mr. Joe Kriskovich, Director, Administrative
