CONTRACT SENIOR SERVICES
The Department of Aging and
Community Services contracts with the following agencies to provide
additional services to seniors 60 years old and above:
Addus Healthcare
contracts to provide respite, personal care and homemaker services to low
income seniors who are not eligible for In-Home Supportive Services
(IHSS). Call Addus

Catholic Charities
contracts to provide
personal care and homemaker services to low income seniors who are
not eligible for In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS). In addition, Catholic Charities
contracts to provide the following services: Caregiver
Respite, Caregiver Chore, Home Modification, Telephone Reassurance

Council for the Spanish Speaking
contracts to provide legal assistance to seniors and their caregivers.
Staffed with a paralegal and consulting
attorney, the program offers legal advice and various advocacy
services. Other services include educational workshops, presentations
pertaining to wills, powers of attorney, restraining orders, small
claims, filling out forms, writing legal letters, and many other

Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP)
contracts to provide
Medicare and health insurance counseling and advocacy to all Medicare
eligible individuals or individuals soon to be on Medicare. Call

Jene Wah, Inc.
contracts to provide congregate meals, telephone reassurance,
homemaker, and personal care services primarily to low income Chinese

Lodi Memorial Hospital
contracts to provide adult day care and
to seniors in San Joaquin County at Hutchins Street Square Senior
Center in Lodi, California. Call Lodi Memorial at (209) 369-4443 or

LOEL Senior Center call 369-1591
contracts to provide congregate meals.
Second Harvest Food Bank
contracts to provide the Brown Bag Program, which distributes bags of
