Welcome to the Department of Aging Website!  I hope that you will find all the useful information you are seeking about the Department, and services that are available throughout San Joaquin County.  Whether you are a senior, disabled, or a caregiver of a senior or disabled person, our staff would like to assist you to access the services that are available.  We would love to hear from you about any improvements to this website that you would find helpful, and answer any questions you may have.  Please feel free to contact us directly by phone at (800) 510-2020 between 8 AM and 5 PM on regular business days.  To report suspected abuse or neglect of a senior or disabled adult please call (888) 800-4800 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

This Department is committed to assisting seniors and their families/caregivers throughout the County.  Some services we provide directly to the community, and others we provide through working with the network of programs designed to meet the needs of seniors and disabled adults regardless of income level.  Whether you are seeking general information, or have specific areas in which you feel assistance is needed, our Information and Assistance staff are available to talk with you.  We encourage you to check the numerous topics that are available on the website, and if you choose, to complete the Assistance Assessment Form.  This will identify for you, the range of services for which you may be eligible.  If you decide to send us this form, it will provide us with basic information that will help us assist you in choosing the services that would best work for you.
